CEREBROSCOPE STUDIO ARCHIVAL NOTE
>
Record approved for reproduction.
>
Dr. Omb subsequently submitted nineteen pages concerning the mushroom.
I particularly like this draw because it accidentally gives us our first little continuity between records without making continuity mandatory. Strawberry was Acquisition 001; then Z. Omb became obsessed with our dripping mushroom; now the bureaucracy interrupts him while he's apparently still dealing with it.
And it establishes something useful about him: weird doesn't have to mean incapable of recognizing the obvious. Sometimes the company asks for a report and Z. Omb's scientific conclusion is essentially “Yes. Obviously. Why are you wasting my time?”
