Z.O.M.B. LABORATORIES — Specimen Record 049-V
Object: Heart-like biological specimen
Visible text: “Be My Vamp”
Associated object: Razor blade
Primary question: How does the symbolic heart-shaped exterior accommodate cardiac-like tissue and vasculature?
The heart itself becomes the focus:
- are the dark lines actual blood vessels, surface discoloration, or something else;
- is it human, animal, humanoid, or not identifiable;
- is it still viable tissue;
- was it cut out, preserved, or otherwise removed;
- does the razor blade carry matching blood/tissue residue;
- does the phrase “Be My Vamp” have any actual connection to the specimen’s origin;
- and whether the word Vamp is just romantic/vampiric labeling rather than evidence.
Morphology assessment
Primary anomaly: How can an organ with the external geometry of a symbolic heart still function as a vascularized biological heart?
External morphology: strongly non-anatomical
Internal/vascular behavior: cardiac-like
Blood supply: present
Visible vessel network: present
Sharp-force injury: confirmed
Bleeding from incision: confirmed
Heart-shaped geometry: anomalous
Chamber arrangement, vessel routing, pumping function, internal symmetry and the relationship between pigmentation and tissue architecture remain under investigation.
Blade Examination
The razor blade is not decorative.
It is embedded into the upper-right portion of the specimen.
Fluid emerges directly from the incision and tracks downward along the surrounding tissue.
Records looks at the heart.
Records: Okay. That one definitely did it.
Z. Omb: It definitely caused this local incision.
Records: Thank you.
Z. Omb: That does not establish that it caused the specimen to be removed from the body.
Records: You couldn't just let me have one.
The wound edges are examined.
The tissue immediately around the blade shows mechanical disruption consistent with a sharp cutting instrument.
Fluid collected directly from the wound contains hemoglobin and cellular material consistent with the specimen's vasculature.
So:
CUTTING INJURY CAUSED BY BLADE: CONFIRMED
But whether the blade was inserted before removal, during removal, or afterward remains unresolved.
