The pattern made the surface easier to follow, but it did not expose the concealed material beneath the centre.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThen Omb moved the lamp.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pale highlights shifted across the loops. Fibre identification needs more than a shine.”\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe recorded a smooth, reflective-looking surface without assigning a textile composition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vivid purple shadows in the portrait gave the folds extra depth.
